Hello everyone I just joined this website and I'm trying to figure out if I'm related to the mcdougald on this site. I live in Connecticut and my grandfather is from fayville, NC. His name was R.C. McDougald can one help me? R.C siblings were Mable, Johnny, James, and Willie McDougald. My father's name is Hughie McDougald. Hughie's had three sisters Shirley, Peggy and Euretha (not sure of spelling).

When is the next family reunion? Marie, Joy and I talked about 2013. We also talked about going to Louisville to the Campgrounds out there. To do that, we would need to start sending in money. If everyone sent in about $50 per family, we could rent those cool cabins (a whole section). We were thinking we could do this by paying about $5 per month to the McDougald fund (the keeper of which is to be determined). What do you think? Would you be interested if we did this? Send me an email and let me know what you think. joycemcdougald@sbcglobal.net. We need to get this started if we are going to do it at all. Your thoughts and suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I am a cousin. I am one of five children of Benjamin & Maggie McPhaull. My mom was your grandmother sister. Their was also another sister named Frances Simpson and a brother named Brato Thompson. Hope that you and your family may decide to come to Omaha Ne to meet us.

Hello McDougald Family. I am the number five child of Lovejoy Abraham McDougald and Saloni White McDougald. I just found this website while surfing the internet. I look forward to hopefully attending the family reunion and meeting my peeps.

I worked with Michael Hayes at Digital Equipment Corp in Marlboro MA in the early 90's. He was a great person with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I lost touch with him and I was looking on the internet to try and reconnect. I am sad to hear that he is gone. He brought his family to visit my family in Peachtree City GA. We took a tour of the city on a golf cart, he said that I had found "the" place to live, 4 golf courses and you can drive all of the city in your golf cart. I wish that we could have stayed in touch. I often think about him and wish his family all the best.

On Wednesday November 25,2009 we have had a death in the family Laura Laverne McDougald-Curtis has went to sleep but only for a short time.
She left in a time that we will call peace for her and sorrow for us. I do not regret knowing her and how she has touched the lives of so many people in many ways as well. So when you start to remember her keep in mind that her love for all is not so far behind. Keep her alive in your minds and upon your heart and Let the Music Play on.
